dc.description.abstractIn this study, the cutoff frequencies of the filters in the receiver part of the designed optical communication system were investigated according to the distances. In the setup designed with the OptiSystem 7.0 simulation program, Bessel filter and Gaussian filter were determined as the two filters that gave the best results, considering the eye diagrams and quality factors of the low-pass filters. The cutoff frequencies, at which the maximum quality factors of these filters were obtained, were examined according to the distance. The cutoff frequencies and performance of the filters were compared.en
