4,6-Dimethyl-2-(2,4-dimethylphenyliminomethyl)-quinoline

Abstract

The molecule of the title compound, C20H20N2, is not planar. The dihedral angle between the planes of the quinoline and phenyl rings is 64.6 (1)degrees, and these two planes make angles of 17.7 (2) and 47.7 (3)degrees, respectively, with the plane of the central iminomethyl moiety.
