Abstract

The fourth chapter, presents the earthquake in Erzincan on April 13, 1992 and the new settlement, which has been decided to be quake-resistant. This chapter also examines the basis of design of new dwellings. The Fifth chapter is the last chapter, which gives the conclusion of the reasearch. The issuses which previously examined in the 2nd. 3rd. and 4th. chapter are summarized and concluded. And also the measures of being quake-resistance is repeated generally.
