dc.description.abstractPurpose: The aim of this study is to develop a suitable relationship between the MEMS type DM which is driven by 140 actuators and the WFS. Theory and Methods: The theory that is used in this study is derived from the minimization of error covariance matrix so that the chosen input pattern can minimize the error between the output of the experimental setup and the output of the obtained model. Results: An appropriate system model with an accuracy rate of 90% between DM and WFS is derived using the proposed method. Conclusion: In this study, the Hadamard pattern is augmented with the Zernike wavefront aberration modes and tested on AO test-bench which is shown in Figure A. The success of the proposed method is demonstrated experimentally in Hardware-in-the-loop testing (HIL). Based on these experimental results, one can obtain an accurate system model for DM despite its complicated, flexible and large-scale structureen
