dc.description.abstractPhytochemicals have emerged as potential anticancer agents for breast cancer treatment, which remains one of the most common cancer types today. Incorporating phytochemical-based agents into polymeric nanocarriers enhances water solubility and bioavailability, making them distinct biocompatible systems. In this study, we investigated the in vitro anticancer activity of flaxseed oil-loaded PCL-b-PEG polymeric micelles for breast cancer treatment. The STEM images revealed spherical morphologies of the polymeric micelles, with sizes ranging from 95 to 260 nm depending on the amount of flaxseed oil. MTT assay was conducted on L929 and MCF-7 cells. Notably, the micelles exhibited negligible cytotoxicity towards L929 cells, while showing concentration-dependent cytotoxicity against MCF-7 cells. Additionally, the effect of the micelles on MCF-7 cell migration was evaluated, revealing a clear inhibitory effect. The findings underscore the anticancer potential of the produced polymeric micelles, thereby highlighting their potential as nanocarriers for breast cancer treatment.en
