Özet

Cyber dating abuse refers to emotional, psychological, or sexual harassment occurring in online environments, causing significant harm to romantic relationships. focuses on analyzing the intrapersonal (actor) and interpersonal (partner) relationships between cyber dating abuse and relationship satisfaction, and to assess the mediating role of relationship quality on this relationship. The research was conducted based on the dyadic approach. The study included 179 Turkish heterosexual couples (N = 358). The average age of the women participants was 30.83 years (SD = 7.89), while the men participants had an average age of 33.02 years (SD = 8.71). The actor effects between cyber dating abuse, romantic relationship quality, and romantic relationship satisfaction were significant for both men and women. However, the partner effect of cyber dating abuse on romantic relationship satisfaction was not significant. The other partner effects tested were also significant. According to the results of the study, cyber dating abuse in relationships affects relationship satisfaction through relationship quality. These results are considered within the context of existing literature.
