Özet

The buckling mode of an edge cracks' surfaces contained in a PZT/Metal/PZT rectangular thick plate is studied and this study is made within the scope of the 3D linearized theory of stability loss with utilizing the piecewise homogeneous body model. It is supposed that there is an interface edge crack between the face and core layers and this plate is loaded with the uniformly-distributed compressive forces acting on two opposite end planes. it is assumed that the surfaces of the considered edge cracks have infinitesimal initial imperfections and investigated the evolution of these initial imperfections under compressive forces. The values of the critical buckling forces for the local buckling-delamination of the considered PZT plate around the edge cracks are determined from the initial imperfection's criteria. Under some values of the problem parameters, the cracks' edge surfaces have surface wrinkles. The aim of this study is to investigate and analyze that.
