Özet
Studies on the relationship between algal blooms and temperature changes in the Antarctic region have gained increasing importance in recent years. Due to the harsh conditions of Antarctica, this relationship was investigated in the laboratory using a solar simulator in the range of 500-900 nm. The measurement results were analysed using a time-series approach. The experiment revealed that algal blooms have a maximum absorption near 687 nm. These findings demonstrate that algal blooms interact with temperature increases in the region, revealing their potential role in local warming through enhanced solar absorption.
