Özet
Energy efficiency is one of the most important issues of sustainable buildings. To achieve energy performance goals at sustainable buildings; energy efficient design and usage of renewable sources, are key subjects. At this point of view, solar energy, which can be evaluated by active and passive design methods at the buildings, has a great importance for sustainable buildings. Usage of solar active systems at buildings is increasing rapidly by the force of economical, environmental reasons and advances at technology. However carelessly done applications causes to visual pollution in cities. As solar active systems have a great effect on the form and appearance of the building, it is essential to have an optimization between efficiency, economy and esthetics. To achieve good applications in quality, solar active systems have to be considered as a criterion at design process and collectors have to be regarded as an architectural element. In this study it is aimed to submit a design approach that active systems are regarded as design criteria especially they are used effectively at multi block buildings. At the content of the study, solar hot water and pv systems have been discussed about their efficiency and design process. And the regarded approach has been evaluated in the context of sustainable buildings and integrated design.
