SWOT ANALYSIS AND INTEGRATED FUZZY AHP/ANP METHODOLOGIES FOR STRATEGIC POLICY SELECTION IN TURKISH ECONOMY

Abstract

Nowadays, the global economic crisis affects Turkish economy. For the minimization of the crisis' effects and for providing continuance of the economic stability, the countries have to develop new strategies. In this paper, we examined the Turkish economy and proposed a model for the suitable strategic policy selection about economic situation. For a solution technique we integrated fuzzy AHP and fuzzy ANP methodologies based on linguistic terms under fuzzy environment and triangular fuzzy numbers with SWOT analysis. The model is explained by an illustrative example and the results of both fuzzy AHP and fuzzy ANP methodologies are compared.
