Özet
Ad-hoc networks are formed by multiple nodes which are dependent of at least one another node in their transmission range to communicate with a node beyond range. Modern ad-hoc routing protocols mostly suffer from routing misbehavior attacks such as Black Hole or Gray Hole. In this paper, a novel routing misbehavior prevention system is proposed after detailed analysis of how misbehavior attacks mostly affect routing protocols. The proposed prevention system is inspired by the human interaction system like in the case one person investigates another person. In which, investigator tries to collect information from others who know the person under investigation. The novel approach is designed to reduce unnecessary broadcast and to use gathered information in further routing decisions. In order to illustrate the success of the novel approach, both a gray-hole attack system and proposed defense system is implemented in NS-2 network simulator and comparative results are presented.
