dc.description.abstractThe purpose of this paper was to obtain the analytical approximate solution of timefractional Fornberg-Whitham, equation involving Jumarie's modified Riemann-Liouville derivative by the fractional variational iteration method (FVIM). FVIM provides the solution in the form of a convergent series with easily calculable terms. The obtained approximate solutions are compared with the exact or existing numerical results in the literature to verify the applicability, efficiency and accuracy of the method.
