Ulubelenolide: A New triterpene lactone from Tanacetum chiliophyllum (Fisch & Mey.) var. monocephalum Grierson

Abstract

A further investigation on Tanacetum chilhophyllum var. monocephalum ethyl acetate extract afforded a new triterpene lactone Ulubelenolide (olean-12-ene-3 beta,10 beta-olide) (1).The structure of (1) was determined with spectral analysis including FTIR, H-1, C-13 NMR, APT, DEPT, COSY, HMQC, HMBC, and APCI-MS.
