dc.description.abstractMarine and undersea environments present challenging conditions for traditional communications systems. To overcome these challenges, the use of optical communication systems is becoming increasingly popular. In this study, optical communication systems for maritime applications were examined. An integrated wired and wireless communication system was modeled with the OptiSystem 7.0 simulation software. Communication techniques on and under the sea were studied.en
