dc.description.abstractThis paper introduces a new software tool, which can be used for automatic generation of Timed Arc Petri Net (TAPN) models from the railway station topology for interlocking systems. The introduced software tool has two components, 'Graphical User Interface' to draw the station topology and 'Application Software' to generate TAPN models from the station topology. TAPN is a highly recommended formal modeling method by the CENELEC EN50128 standard. Generated models, belonging to the station, are stored in an XML file and can be viewed using TAPAAL.en
