The magazine, published under the management of Tevfik Nureddin by the Turk Yurdu of Turkish Land under Yusuf Akcura's administration, had 79 issues in the first period of 1913-1914. This magazine has tried to bring a new identity politics to the corner, leaving the Ottoman politics followed by the publication of Turkish children's publications since 1869. This policy has become Turkish nationalism shaped by the heavy defeat of the Balkan Wars, loss of land and lives, immigration problem. The Cocuk Dunyasi has sought to build a new collective identity politics around urban, male, Turkish and Muslim rational students and to unify them around a vengeful, emotional, warlike Turkish nationalism that highlights ethnic accent.
