Abstract

Growing opium was the main agricultural product during the periot of new Repuplic of Turkey. The main sources of this this thesis are the documents belongs to archives of Prime Ministry of Turkey in the era of new repuplic. This thesis contains three main chapters. The first chapter is about the definition and the classification for narcotics. In the second part the position and stuation of narcotics is explained. And as a main part of the thesis, the third chapter is about the history of narcotics in Otoman empire and new Turkish Repuplic. I want to set a model to help the human being for their war against the main problem of the world in this centruy, narcotics. Yes, it is a very good source of income, but what about the damage of it? Demage of our youth, our healt. We have to fight with narcotic for our future.
