The field of architecture is focused on space which is reduced to an object. The society, as the subject, seems to be ejected from the center of the architecture. However, society and space is not a fissionable entirety, contrarily they compose a network intertwined to each other. In architecture in which space is being considered from one point of view, the significance of the place notion, which expands the scope of space embracing not only the physical but also the mental and the experiential practices, seems to be wasted early even unrealized. Therefore, this article aims to argue the meaning of place differing from space, the relationship between the place and space, body, subject through conceptual instruments and also to remind the forgotten subject to the practice of architecture.en
