| dc.description.abstract | In this study, an accurate vortex assisted dispersive liquid-liquid microextraction (VA-DLLME) strategy was developed for the sensitive determination of propoxur from raisin samples prior to determination by gas chromatography mass spectrometry (GC-MS). Single-factor variable experiments were carried in the optimization of significant parameters influencing the extraction recovery to obtain optimum experimental outcomes. Under the optimal conditions, the calculated values for detection and quantification limits (LOD, LOQ) were 0.24 and 0.81 mu g/L, respectively. A 105 fold enhancement in the detection power of the GC-MS was achieved. Linearity of the developed method was found between 1.0-75 mu g/L and the low percent relative standard deviations (%RSD < 10.0%) indicated high precision for the lowest concentrations of the calibration plots. The developed method was applied to raisin samples in order to check the applicability and the accuracy of the method. The percent recoveries obtained ranged between 99-104%. | en |
