MAP GENERATION USING HIGH RESOLUTION SATELLITE IMAGES

Abstract

In this study it is aimed to have precise maps by generating DEMs using high resolution IKONOS images with +/- 5 m (RMSH) and +/- 3 m (RMSx,y) root mean square error in height and position respectively. For this purpose the precison of Orthorectified IKONOS images generated by Ortho/Z-Space has been evaluated. Thus, generation ofvector data base for the AM/FM and GIS/LIS applications the use of processed image data has been analysed.
