This study investigates the utilization of washing aggregate sludge (WAS), a silt-clay waste material, in cement mortar composites. Three different incorporation methods were used and their effect on the durability properties of cement mortars was researched by determining the voids content, sorptivity coefficient, and chloride migration coefficient. WAS was initially ground and then added to cement mortar at two ratios. Test results showed that the durability properties of cement mortar were significantly affected by the incorporation method of WAS. The paste replacement method provided the best results and significantly reduced the voids content, sorptivity, and chloride migration coefficient of cement mortars and the effect increased by increasing the WAS replacement ratio.en
