dc.description.abstractIn this study, it is aimed to control an X-Y axis mechanism and to obtain the driving signals required by the STEP or SERVO drives to be used here with the help of FPGA. In the study, firstly, circular motion profiles were obtained mathematically, inspired by the s-curve. In the next part, the platform design for the FPGA was made and the system was ensured to have a NIOS processor that can be programmed in C, and the two parties were able to shake hands with a separate process created by VHDL. Thanks to the NIOS processor, timing data of the positions were obtained, and these data were regularly transferred to the VHDL side and the PTO signal set, also defined as pulse and direction signals, was obtained.en
