dc.description.abstractThe passive vibration control of elastic and parameter varying systems such as a pipe conveying fluid is usually ineffective. Therefore extensive researches into active vibration control is carried out. The main subject of these researches is to design method of controller named regulator. In this work, two design approaches, pole assignment and LQR are considered. By applying this approaches, the suppression of vibration of a pipe conveying fluid is discussed.en
