INVESTIGATION OF TREATED LEACHATE REUSING

Abstract

Because of uncontrolled usage of water sources and drought, preventive measures must be taken. Usage of good quality water in irrigating methods increases in inappropriate water loss. Reuse of treated wastewater is very important in this point. Some component, that causes unwanted results when discharged tor receiving water, which can be substrat for many plants. Reuse of treated wastewater, have some benefits like uncontrolled usage of good quality water, preventing negativeness of nitrogen and phosphorus discharge, and providing the substrat necessity of some plants with wastewater. In this study, treated leachate with pretreatment methods and UF, NF membranes are evaluated as irrigating water, according to maximum heavy metal and toxic element concentration as given in the Technical Procedure Communication [3].
