A DECISION SUPPORTIVE METHOD FOR FREIGHT TRANSPORTATION MODE CHOICE

Abstract

In this study a selection method is presented that helps intercity or international freight mode choice decisions. The criterion of mode choice and their priorities are determined based on a sectoral questionnaire. The hardcore of the method can be put forward as that choosing the most weighted alternative based on the criterions considered. A mode choice problem defined from textile sector and it is solved by using recommended method.
