Abstract

Heat treatment of the welded joints is usually done in order to keep the strength and the herdness values of the weld metal and the heat affected zone at a normal level or to bring them to this normal level. Heat tnearment shows diffenences according to the contents of carbon and the alloying elements and the thickness of the considered workpiece. In the second part of the article the applied Metallurgical of welding, Metalurgical and Mechanical properties of welded joints and Heat treatment of the welded joints in amade from low alloy pipe-steel as an example.
