| dc.description.abstract | This paper presents an approach to overcome the limitations of a static Diffserv model by making automatic decisions to configure routers and to make the system adapt to the changes in the network traffic status. Monitor agents running at edge and core routers report to the policy decision point about bandwidth utilizations and about traffic to a TCP port other than the ports considered in traffic classification. This feedback is used to modify edge and core router Diffserv configurations in order to redistribute bandwidth among available traffic classes and to handle unconsidered traffic types by defining additional traffic classes. | en |
